Newsletter June – August 2025 Highlights & Achievements

Newsletter June – August 2025 Highlights & Achievements Director’s Note, Jakub Samsa Dear Gymac Family, From June to August, our gym has been filled with laughter, dedication, and so many proud moments. Between national & international  competitions, evaluation day, holiday camps, and the Czech training camp, it’s been a season full of energy and togetherness. We also shared beautiful memories with the Aerial Silk Show in June and enjoyed three months of training with Coach Laia  from Spain. This newsletter is here to bring all these highlights together and keep our Gymac community connected. And looking ahead, we’re excited to let you know that starting in September, we’ll be moving to a new registration system called Swoorl — making it simpler for parents and coaches to stay organized and for our kids to keep shining. Thank you for sharing this journey with us — Gymac wouldn’t be the same without each and every one of you! With warmth,The Gymac Team Competitions Recaps National Championships Our gymnasts shone at the Mauritius National Artistic Gymnastics & Tumbling/Parkour Championships, organised by the GFM. Over 100 athletes, aged 7 to 27 years, competed in two days of intense performances, with Gymac and Amelia’s Stars Gymnasts bringing incredible energy, sportsmanship, and passion to the floor. It was a weekend of unforgettable routines and proud victories, made possible thanks to the support of our coaches, parents, and community who helped make the event a true success. A total of 116 young athletes, aged 4 to 12 years, showcased their skills across the beam, floor, bars, vault, and uneven bars. Held twice a year, this event is a special moment for parents to witness their children’s achievements and for athletes to grow in confidence. The day ended with a prize-giving ceremony, where every gymnast was recognised for their hard work and progress — a day of joy, pride, and smiles all around.   Click To View Video Prime Invitational – Singapore Artistic Gymnastics Competition In June, Gymac set off to Singapore for a 10-day international adventure. Our delegation included 9 athletes, parents, 2 coaches, and 2 national-level judges, all representing Gymac with pride. The competition spanned three intense days — with two days dedicated to Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) and the final day to Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG). After months of hard work and preparation, our athletes stepped onto the floor with determination, giving their very best and shining among talented international gymnasts. This unforgettable experience offered not only great exposure to the world of gymnastics, but also a chance for our gymnasts, coaches, and parents to bond, share memories, and grow stronger as a team. A special highlight of the trip was Shreeyan’s gold medal victory, a moment of joy and pride for the entire Gymac family. Click To View Video Holiday Camps End of Year Terms For two months, from June to the end of August, our Holiday Camps brought endless fun and energy to Gymac. Children enjoyed a mix of gymnastics, aerial silks, and other exciting activities, making new friends and creating summer memories filled with smiles, flips, and laughter. Bohemian Praha – Czech Training Camp This July, Gymac welcomed Bohemians Praha, led by Olympian Jiří Fiřt, for a two-week collaboration with our high-performance squad. The camp was filled with intense training sessions, cultural exchange, and shared techniques, giving our athletes the unique chance to train alongside top Czech gymnasts. We also hosted a special coaching event with the Gymac coaches, and the team enjoyed outdoor activities like the Le Pouce hike and fun water sessions — making this camp both a sporting and bonding highlight for everyone. Previous Next Aerial Silk & Hoop Show June brought us a magical evening as our adult aerialists, guided by Coach Aurelie, performed a dreamy silk show. The event also featured a graceful Aerial Hoop performance by our aerialists Laeticia and Emita, showcasing the beauty and strength of aerial arts. This evening was not only a farewell to Ozge and her daughter, who will always be part of our Gymac family, but also a celebration of progress — with some aerialists performing after just three months of training, while others shared the elegance of their longer journey. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXeqkLT2fNI&list=PLhz4gMIZKDY5lAM55qgcOzWgT8aTGwlr0&index=10 Coach Laia From Spain For three months, we had the joy of training with Coach Laia from Spain, a former bronze medalist with the Spanish National Gymnastics Team. With experience coaching in Dubai, Malta, and Sri Lanka, she brought a wealth of knowledge, energy, and passion to Gymac.
